From those bayous, I found my way into the United States Navy, becoming an air traffic controller—a role where I sharpened skills in precision, leadership, and quick decision-making. Later, I pursued an MBA to expand my strategic thinking. But through every step, one passion remained constant: wildlife, especially the enigmatic sharks of the sea.

Growing up in Louisiana’s bayous meant living side-by-side with nature—alligators, birds of prey, and the ever-shifting tides of the Gulf Coast. Nature wasn’t just scenery; it was a way of life. That connection lit a fire in me early on, inspiring awe, curiosity, and eventually a call to serve something greater.

The Navy Years: Precision Under Pressure

My path led me to the Navy, where I became an air traffic controller, guiding aircraft through some of the world’s busiest and most intense skies. In that high-stakes environment, success depended on:
